Turkish Flotilla Scam and Hamas Refuses Humanitarian Aids.

The emergence of Turkey in a leading position against Israel is developing
as the most significant aspect of the efforts of an “aid flotilla” to run
the blockade of Gaza that is maintained by both Egypt and Israel.

Turkey, a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and which aspires
to join the European Union, ranks as chief instigator, leader, and organizer
of the so-called Gaza aid flotilla of boats arrested overnight by Israeli
commandoes. Inevitably the clash resulted in several dead and wounded, the
latter including Israeli navy personnel, as well as condemnation of Israel,
some via anti-Semitic rhetoric, from both Western Europe and the Arab world.

Yet there was nothing accidental about this collision. Videos show
demonstrators on the boat attacking Israeli navy personnel with knives and
live fire and seizing at least one of the soldiers’ weapons. Training,
preparations and the loud propaganda preceded the flotilla, all earmarked to
shed blood and launch another “hate the Jews” campaign.

Turkey and Hamas, the Islamist group governing Gaza since 2007, teamed up
overtly to engineer the exercise for weeks. It was out there to see for all
on Al Jazeera. So-called non-governmental aid groups included Turkish
militants trained to fight and prepared to shed blood. The charade was
meticulously watched over by the Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip

no effort inveighing anti-Israel sentiments in the greater Middle
East region ever since it emerged in 2002.

The ‘’Hate the Jews’’ campaign will undoubtedly follow its course to the
United Nations where the Security Council will fashion yet one more
anti-Israeli resolution within days. The White House issued a statement
today ‘’regretting’’ loss of life but failing to offer any support for the
beleaguered Jewish state.

There is nothing new about blockades. Britain imposed a blockade in 1982 on
the Falkland Islands and levied a 74 days long war, in which 255 British and
649 Argentine soldiers perished, to protect its sovereignty over these
far-flung territories occupied by Argentina. Egypt has blockaded Gaza since
2007, reinforced with an 18-feet-deep steel wall to prevent tunnels to Gaza.
(Instead of blaming Israel for the incident, the United State and European
countries must reassess the validity of Turkish membership of NATO and
realize that this ‘moderate’ Islamic country has no place in the European
Union! At the same time, Israel needs to end the pretence that Turkey is a
friendly Muslim country.)

*NOTES:*  1) IHH, the Turkish group which organized the armada to Gaza which
was intercepted by the Israeli navy, had ties in the 1990s to the Al-Qaeda
terror network and World Jihad, according to a 2006 study by the Danish
Institute for International Studies.

2) The Gaza flotilla ships held at least 40 professional mercenaries, some
affiliated with Al Qaeda, apparently hired to engage IDF soldiers in combat.
The Turkish media has revealed that three of the four Turkish victims of the
Israeli raid on the Gaza flotilla had previously expressed their desire to
be Muslim suicide martyrs.

3) Israeli navy commandos with paint ball rifles (I assume to reduce the
risk of civilian casualties) were descending from a helicopter into a Moslem
mob. They were separated from the unit, then beaten, stabbed and assaulted
with flying objects. Some were pushed down into the hold and stripped of
their anti-flak vests first. The soldiers reported they barely escaped
lynching or possibly being taken hostage.

4) Flotilla is a Smoke

flotilla’s organizers: the 25-odd
truckloads of equipment offloaded from the ships is roughly a quarter of the
amount Israel transported into the Gaza strip every day. According to the
Gaza Coordination and Liaison Administration, 100 truckloads of assorted
goods are transferred into Gaza daily.

5) There were materials on the ships specifically banned by the Israeli
authorities, such as cement and metal rods, which Israel fears may be used
by Hamas and other terrorist organizations to build bunkers and weapons.

*Flotilla Organizers Wanted Blood to be Shed.** *Foreign Minister Avigdor
Lieberman spoke out on Monday evening regarding Israel’s interception of
boats trying to break the naval blockade of Gaza, saying that “The aim of
the terror activists was the spilling of blood and not any humanitarian aid
in Gaza.” He continued, “Everything proves that it was a group of terrorists
who want to promote terror and cooperate with terror.” Lieberman rejected
claims about Israel acting in international waters, explaining, “It’s every
state’s right to check ships entering its territory. Action in international
waters was in accordance with all accepted international law.”

*Hamas Refuses Flotilla Aid.** *The IDF Spokesman’s Office reports that
Israel has loaded 20 trucks with various types of aid found onboard the
flotilla but the Hamas is refusing to accept it. “Unfortunately, the Hamas
terror organization is unwilling to accept the cargo and the trucks filled
with humanitarian aid have not been allowed to enter the Gaza Strip. It
appears that Hamas is in fact stopping the transfer of the humanitarian
aid.” (This is another proof that there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza
and the Flotilla was just another anti-Israel publicity stunt in support of
terrorists of Hamas!)

.* The flotilla violence caught Netanyahu in the midst of a diplomatic trip
to North America. He was in the Canadian capital of Ottawa at the time,
about to leave for Washington for a meeting with U.S. President Barack
Obama. Netanyahu announced immediately after the flotilla news broke that he
would remain in North America and would meet with Obama as scheduled.
However, Obama told him to leave because he didn’t want Netanyahu to use the
White House as a stage on which to present Israel’s side of the story. (Obama
is another puppet of Saudi Arabia and the oil companies! Sometimes fake
friends of Israel are worse than enemies. Netanyahu must demand an apology
from Obama and not rush to visit Washington next time.)

*Support from a True Friend.* President of the Czech Senate, Dr. Farmisal
Subotka, visited the Knesset on Wednesday and expressed unprecedented
support for Israel regarding the Gaza flotilla. Subotka said it was a
planned provocation against Israel: “Many in Europe agree with me but are
afraid to voice their opinion,”

casualties and executed it perfectly, the enemies of Israel would have
portrayed it as a “fiasco” anyway and would carried out a well prepared,

occupation”. (I doubt that it will work – Kurds are not ‘Palestinians’ and
Turkey is not the Jewish state! After all, the international community is
still indifferent and silent about the genocide of Armenians committed by
Turkey in 1915.)**

*Only Hamas May Demolish Palestinian Illegal Structures.* On May 16 Hamas
police dragged a family with eight children out of their squat cement house
and pummelled them with wooden batons as bulldozers razed the building along
with nearly 20 other homes. Khalil Shahin, of the Palestinian Centre for
Human Rights (PCHR), said the demolitions were part of a larger project
targeting some 180 houses. Two of the houses that were destroyed were made
of mud bricks and had been hailed by Hamas as a feat of Palestinian
ingenuity in enduring the siege.

– Egypt has made a similar offer.

*Hizbullah in Syrian – Getting Ready for War.* Hizbullah terrorists are
running weapons to Lebanon from secret arms depots in Syria, situated near
the town of Adra, where the terrorists have been accorded their own living
quarters, arms storage site and a fleet of trucks. This is the first proof
of Hizbullah guerillas encamping on Syrian soil. IDF Intelligence Officer,
Brigadier General Yossi Baidatz, told the Knesset recently that even without
the Scud transfers, which he called the ‘tip of the iceberg’,  Hizbullah’s
arsenal contains rockets of all kinds in numbers that exceed by far their
arsenal before the last war with Israel. Weapons transfers from Syria had
passed the stage of ‘smuggling’ and were ‘organized and official’.

*While all Pressure is on Israel.* Syria has informed the United Nations
about nuclear testing it conducted in the past according to a secret report
by the International Atomic Energy (IAEA) obtained by *Reuters*. The report
adds that, since 2008, the Damascus government has not given permission to
inspectors to examine the Dir Az-Zour nuclear site which Israel bombed in
2007. (Syria and Iran are Ratified members of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation
Treaty – NO pressure on them! India and Pakistan have recently developed
nuclear weapons – NO pressure on them! Israel is the only country
international hypocrites do care about!)

two-day visit to Argentina to protest the annulment of an event honouring
Turkey’s late leader, under pressure by Armenian activists.

Guardian Angels Safety Patrol Recover Handgun from Violent Criminal

While it has been a long time since I have posted/blogged here, it is time I start again. The other day on, Friday April 30, 2010, as part of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Alliance of Guardian Angels, I was part of a Safety Patrol in Hollywood. What started of as a quiet night turned out to be a night of great satisfation. It was around 2315 or 11:15 PM. Myself, Matthew (Hound Dog) and Jerome (Z) had just existed the rear dorr of the building that houses our Guardian Angel substation in Hollywood. We heard yelling between a male and female. As we approached we observed two individuals in a parked vehicle exchanging words. The male was yelling threats to the female and the female was responding challenging the man to act on his threats. Finally the male told her to get out of his car. The female got out and started to leave the male jumped out of the car and cornered her making additional threats. At this point the Safety Patrol stationed ourselves in a position to take action if needed. The man then turned from verbal aggression to physical violence and committed assault and battery on the female. Myself and Matthew pursued the male while Jerome went to the aid of the female. As we approached the male he reached toward his rear pockets we were able to restrain him and I placed a pair of handcuffs on him and advised him I was detaining him for suspicion of battery . At that point I began a pat down for our safety and found a 9mm semi automatic handgun in his left rear pocket. At that point I realized had Matthew and I not acted as fast as we did there was a chance we could have been in serious danger of injury. Once I had the weapon out of his pocket and announced “gun” Jerome and Matthew had the male subject moved and secured against his vehicle where Matthew determined he had no other weapons on him. I noticed the weapon was cocked. While I have weapons training from from various jobs such as working working in Correction in Missouri and for the short time I was a Fugitive Apprehension Agent in Missouri and from the times I was an Armed Security Officer in Missouri and from the time I was a Police Explorer Scout with both Fountain Valley and Lompoc Police Departments, my training had been in revolvers. Since Matthew is a former Deputy Sheriff and currently an Armed Security Officer I asked him to clear the weapon. Matthew confirmed the weapon was cocked and ready to be fired. Matthew pulled the clip and then ejected the round that was chambered. I approached the male subject and asked him if he had a concealed weapons permit. He replied that he did not have a permit for the weapon. At this point I advised him that I was placing him under citizens arrest for carrying a concealed weapon. When LAPD arrived on scene Matthew transfered possesion of the firearm to the police and I transfered custody of the male subject into the custody of police. I have been a Guardian Angel for a little over a year now. I have built a great love and respect for my fellow Angels. Week after week we suit up and go out and try to make the streets of hollywood safe. Usually we break up fights and try to get people home safely. Generally speaking we rarely detain a subject for the police to arrest and even more rarely do we actually make an arrest. In this incident we did not plan to make an arrest, but felt we needed to detain the subject because the battery might have been domestic violence. But once the concealed weapon was discovered we felt we had no choice but to effect an arrest. As we discussed it later we all felt that with the violent verbal threats the male was making toward the women. It was likely that not only had he committed assault and battery but he had also committed criminal threats. We also felt there was a good chance he might have used the weapon on the female or someone else had we not taken action. Dare to Care

Obama’s Healthcare is it out of the Nazi Playbook?

During the elections one of the things which lead to my decision to vote for Barack Obama was his Universal Healthcare for all Americans. But as I have done some research I have noticed that President Obama’s plans to not include everyone and embraces an aspect of eugenics that was the core of the Nazi Regime under Hitler.
As I look at his advisors and as I peer at who his has put in charge of putting his healthcare plan into effect I have become fearful that America is slipping dangerously close to those days when the physically disabled, mentally challenged and terminally ill were forced sterilized or put to death in mercy killings. Some of you might scoff at my anonology but read on and research what I have compiled.

Let us look at who Barack Obama has chosen…

Dr. Ezekiel Emmanuel, Special Healthcare Advisor to the Office of Managementand Budget. who in his 1998 paper written with Margaret Papst Battin “What are the Potential Cost Savings from Legalized Physician-Assisted Suicide”. And what does Margaret Papst Battin believe? well lets look at her writings “Should Healthcare be rationed by age?” (1987), “Choosing the time to die: The Ethics and Economics of Suicide in Old Age”(1987), amongst others which tell us that we should encourage our elders to kill themselves instead of getting treatment. Both Ezekiel Emmanuel and Margaret Papst Battin are fellows at the “Hastings Center” which likes to change the name of Mercy Killing.. or Eugenics into Assisted Suicide. And who else is part of this “Hastings Center” but the Veterans Administrations Chief research and development officer Joel Kupersmith!, Will they be using our soldiers and service members as their guina pigs? You think not then look at Margaret Battins paper “Phisycian Assisted Suicide – yes but in the VA?”.

And what of the poor you might ask… We all heard of making our medical records electronic? guess who is in charge of that? Nancy Ann Parle from the cerna Corporation and who is now the Director of Healthcare Reform. You might ask what she did at Cerna? She was incharge of the Administration of a program which gave bonuses to doctors for denial of service for the poor and homeless at Cook County Bureau of health in Chicago. Where Doctors were encouraged not to give treatment if the patient had little or no chance of recovery.

And should we talk about Peter Orzag the current Director of Management and Budget who when he was the Director of Congressional Budget Office wrote repeatedly about “Quality Adjustment Life Years” of a petient.Orzag wrote that a life is worth between $50,000 to $100,000 depending on age, disease, disabilities etc… or basically the more disabled a person is and the older a person is the less we should spend on curing them or keeping them alive and that like in Nazi Germany lets with-hold medicine and treatment from the elderly.

Now lets look at Richard Thaler, President Obama’s “Behavioral Economist” has written several papers including “The value of saving a life” (1974) and “Public Policy toward Lifesaving” (1982) in which he supports and promotes healthcare based on human value where Disabled, Chronically Ill and Mentally Challenged have less value then able bodied and those of sound mind. Seems close to if not the same as Eugenics a concept which is not only Un-American but Pro-Nazi.

Michael Jackson… RIP

I am mourning the loss of a great artist and superhuman. Michael Jackson who holds the world record in celebrities who supported humanitarian causes.. but someone who sanf great music and who more then any other person influenced music today.. he is the King of Pop he overshadows Elvis the King of Rock… I spent the 80′s and the 90′s loving his music.. I will miss him and his music… and for those of you who accuse him of child abuse.. he was found not guilty so.. shut the fuck up….

Has Barack Obama lost it?

As i sit here I am astonished at President Obama. Obama comes out and declares N. Korea a threat with nukes but at the same time he has declared that Iran with nukes is okay. Is it me or does everyone else see the idiocy of Obama’s opinion that Iran is as much if not more of a threat then N. Korea?

I voted for Obama but I am now wishing I could get a refund on my vote. I volunteered for his campaign but I am beginning to feel I wasted my time. As an American I believed he was the change we needed but now I feel like I should break my piggy bank open and send the change to the White Hoouse because Obama has lost his change. As a Jew I feel betrayed, Obama promised me and the other 5 million or so American Jews if we supported him and voted for him he wouls support Israel. Estimates show over 80% of American Jews did vote for him.. We were lied to and betrayed.

I consider myself a liberal, I support womans rights, even though I am personally not in favor of abortion I am pro-choice and would never vote to or support restricting a womans right to choose. I support LGBT rights and marriage equality. I support workplace protections and an inclusive ENDA and a repeal of DOMA and getting rid of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. I believe in regulating business. I support government aid to families who can’t make it. I believe in the seperation of church and state. I also deviate from the liberals on issues such as gun ownership.. I believe every American should own a gun, but I am against the death penalty.

As a liberal though I am astonished and horrified by the lefts support for those who deny others basic freedoms. When I heard Obama talk about a Moslem womans right to wear a hajjib I wanted to yell.. what about her right NOT to wear a Hajjib. When Obama attempted to chastize the israelis in his speech I was wondering why he wasn’t chastizing the Moslems treatment of Coptic Christians in Egypt or Orthodox Christians in Syria?

When I look at the contrasts between Israel and the Arabs in Gaza.. I can’t help but support Israel as a liberal and as a progressive..

Women in Israel.. equal serve as Prime Minister can be officers in the military.. equal rights..
Women in Gaza.. property.. men have more power

Arabs in Israel.. Serve in the Knesset.. can Vote… Serve in Israeli Army
Jews in Gaza… murdered

Gays/lesbians in Israel.. Protected.. recognized marriages.. serve openly in Military and govenrment
Gays/Lesbians in Gaza.. tortured, beheaded..

I mean it is a no brainer

Palestine: The Great Lie

Palestine: the BIG Lie

“The Big Lie” of today–a nonsensical fabrication spawned in the Middle East, has rapidly evolved into an Arab propaganda locomotive powered by the steam engines of anti-Semitic vitriol. The lie–this falsehood of our time–purports that the “Palestinians”, a mythical people whose ancestral beginnings simply cannot be defined nor traced, were ejected from their own land–to which they refer as “Palestine”, and thus were “victimized” by the creation of the state of Israel, in May, 1948.
After failing miserably in their attempts to militarily eradicate the Jewish state, the Arab countries surrounding Israel subsequently and collectively unleashed their propaganda juggernaut into the international marketplace of ideas, where it has been globally fruitful. Seen as “refugees” unable to “return” to a land they claim as their own, the “Palestinians” have an international community–to include the United Nations, the mass media, top universities and seminaries and, of course, Jimmy Carter, in their corner.
With foreign governments–including that of the United States, and a global media sympathetic to the “Palestinian cause”, Israel continues to become increasingly pressured to relent and concede–relinquishing more of her land to a conglomeration of Arabs sworn to her demise.
Perspective
“The Big Lie” of today represents a propaganda machine that, once again, has swayed public opinion in favor of all that is anti-Semitic. Once again, the Jews have witnessed an international community caustically aligning itself against them, effectively pushing the Jewish people not into the mass graves of genocide, but to the brink of demographic suicide.
Arabs who would call themselves, “Palestinians”. Following the model of their Nazi predecessors, the Arabs have effectively unleashed a campaign of misinformation that has been heard and seen with a high degree of frequency. In so doing, they have not only shaped public opinion, but have also been extremely effective in garnering support sympathetic to an ideology that portrays them as “refugees” who have been somehow victimized and displaced by the creation of the Jewish state. In their refusal to recognize Israel’s right to exist, they claim the region as their own–delving further into the nonsensical by referring to it as “Palestine”. Behold, the lie–the inveracity in your midst.
And so, for the purposes of this writing, let us assume, if but for a moment, that we have the capability of “time travel” and have elected to transverse the millennia. The period in time is approximately 2,000 B.C.; the location is the land of Canaan. What would we see?
A Trip Through Time
We observe the presence of Canaanites who, as we advance to 1700 B.C., have been conquered by the first “Israelites”–Abraham and the Hebrews. Where are the Arabs? We observe, centuries later–nearly 1300 years before Yeshua walked the earth, in the region near “Shechem”, a population of Hebrews–having been freed from Egyptian bondage by the Hand of God through Moses, crossing the Jordan River and entering “the Promised Land” in a region we know as Samaria. The Hebrews would live in conflict with the Canaanites for years to come. Nonetheless, there exists no historical record of this time period supporting the existence of an Arab people. Yet, according to today’s “Palestinians”, they roamed this land freely during this time.
In the centuries that followed, Israel would flourish as a nation–forged by the tenacity of Saul, the faith and courage of David, and the wisdom and brilliance of Solomon. However, for Israel, intense suffering and persecution would lie ahead in the coming seasons as she would become downtrodden by the Gentiles–enemies who would go on to destroy her eternal capital–Jerusalem, and its inhabitants, as well as the First and Second Temples. However, the same God whose Wrath punished Israel for her disobedience, would also be the One who would vindicate her in deliverance–time and time again.
Where Are They Now?
Over the span of millennia, the enemies of Israel would inevitably and undeniably come to know the exorbitant price of spilling Jewish blood. Among these were the Canaanites, the Amalekites and the Philistines. Moreover, the prophet Jeremiah prophesied that God will shelter His people, Israel, and destroy her enemies. (Jer. 30:11) Israel lived on and thrived, yet where is the empire of the Assyrians, today? Israel lived on and flourished, yet what became of the Babylonian empire? Israel lived on and blossomed, but did the Roman empire manage to keep pace? Israel is as strong as ever, but can the empire that was the Third Reich say the same?
Perspective

The Jewish people would come to know bondage and death–from Babylon to Birkenau, on a level unseen by any other group of people, and they would experience much suffering. However, as is the nature of a God who never parts from His Promises, they would be restored to and flourish in their land each time. This was a truth foretold. Unlike the “Palestinian” myth that has been repeatedly and caustically advanced into the global “marketplace of ideas”, it need not be said a thousand times to become defined as “truth”.

In fact, it needn’t be said at all.

Of all the ministers of misinformation who made their way onto the world’s stage in the post-Nazi era, none other was quite as cunning, conniving and, sadly enough, effective as Yasser Arafat–the Arab’s version of Joseph Goebbels. This was a man who, time and time again, would walk through the front door disguised as a “peacemaker” only to slip out the back, with his Nobel Peace Prize in tow, as a reputed mass murderer who slaughtered innocent people, including women and children. As chairman of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, Arafat successfully fooled the world with a forked tongue, and although true Justice found Arafat after his death, his penchant for deception and treachery lived on through his successors. As such, the “big lie” remains in the open–alive and well as it continues its relentless pursuit of global deception.
“From Time Immemorial”
The “Palestinians” pervasively and continually assert themselves as the rightful owners of the land of “Palestine”. The “Palestinians” claim to be a “displaced” people–cast from an ancestral homeland that has been theirs “From Time Immemorial” (a phrase coined by author Joan Peters). On the wings of such deception, the “Palestinian” demand for an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital continues to soar and, in the eyes of the international community, sprout merit.

Even so, history tells an entirely different tale.
FALSEHOOD: The “Palestinians” are direct descendants of the ancient Philistines, and thus can subsequently trace their presence in the region to said time period.

HISTORICAL FACT: The ancient Philistines were not an Arab people, but were entirely Greek. These were “invaders” (as per the translation of “Philistine”) from the Aegean who settled into the region we now know as Gaza. These people, who would later develop a slight case of extinction, remained at war with the Israelites–the region’s inhabitants of the time.

FALSEHOOD: The “Palestinians” were displaced and uprooted from their land by the creation of the state of Israel in 1948.

HISTORICAL FACT: In the time period prior to Israel’s rebirth, this region was a complete wasteland consisting of barren deserts and swamps. Numerous eyewitness accounts during this time period tell of a land in which there were very few people. Perhaps the most famous account came from none other than Mark Twain who, at the end of the 19th century, wrote of what he saw–or did not see, in this land–one in which a supposed Arab presence was plentiful:

“One may ride ten miles hereabouts and not see ten human beings…Nazareth is forlorn . . . Jericho the accursed lies a moldering ruin today…There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere.” (Twain, 1867)

The time period surrounding the rebirth of Israel ushered in two historical changes. First, the Jewish people facilitated an agricultural overhaul of the land that gave birth to lush vegetation and abundant crops. Subsequently, this was followed by a mass influx of Arabs into Israel who saw an opportunity. History will show that on May 14, 1948–the day Israel became an independent, sovereign nation–the surrounding Arab countries of Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt and Saudi Arabia launched an invasion of the Jewish state. This was an invasion that would become a costly one at the hands of defeat, and it was Israel, outnumbered at an unprecedented ratio, who would emerge as the victor.

More Propaganda
FALSEHOOD: “Israel” does not exist, and “Palestine” is the only accurate name for this land.

HISTORICAL FACT: The term “Palestine” found its origin with the ancient Philistines. In a complete attempt to “cleanse” Judea of all that was Jewish, it was the Roman Emperor Hadrian who changed the biblical prideland’s name from Judea to that which personified Israel’s nastiest enemy of the time–the Philistines. As such, the region bore a new title, “Palaestina” which, quite literally, means, “Land of the Philistines”. NOTE: Players involved: The Romans, the Jews, and the Philistines–the sea invaders from Greece. Players neither Involved nor heard from during said time period: The Arabs.

FALSEHOOD: The “Palestinian” Arabs are the rightful owners of the land, for they inhabited the region before the Jews.

HISTORICAL FACT: Recorded history clearly shows the Arabs as a people who did not emerge in this region until midway through the 7th century. Yet, they boast incessantly of ties to the land that date back thousands of years. Perhaps the fairy tale most easily debunked, this nonsensical assertion stems from the elusive and mythical “Palestinian” Arab connection with the ancient Philistines (read: Greeks), which would essentially date their lineage to said time period. While recorded history remains incapable of doing the “Palestinians” any favors, it entirely and unequivocally supports a Jewish presence in this region–dating back some 2,000 years before the time of Christ. To those who would submit that the Holy Scriptures do not qualify as an authentic source of “recorded history”, and subsequently do not represent legitimate evidence supporting such an early Jewish presence, consider the 19th-century discoveries of ancient Egyptian records clearly showing Israel as a well-established nation some 1,400 years before the time of Yeshua.

Although this author sides entirely with Biblical record, both sources effectively neutralize any “Palestinian” claims that propagate a lack of a Jewish presence during this time. In all of recorded history, and through all the destruction and catastrophe that has come upon the Jewish people, they have always maintained a presence, albeit to a varying degree, in the land that is Israel.

To assert that the Arab people never had control of the land would be as false as the assertions claiming they inhabited it “from time immemorial”. Recorded history will show this region in the hands of the Arabs during the centuries leading up to the Crusades, when control of Jerusalem became a “volley” between Christian and Muslim alliances, as well as the brief season leading up to the establishment of the Ottoman empire. Nonetheless, despite these times in which different nations established their dominion over the Holy Land, it never knew a time in which it was devoid of a Jewish presence. The Jewish people can claim an ancestral presence in this region that dates back some 3,300 years, and they would be historically accurate in doing so. The “Palestinians” can accurately lay claim to an Arab presence in the land of Israel dating back no earlier than the 7th century.

To erroneously purport that they–the “Palestinians”, inhabited this region before the Jewish people would be an inveracity of not only a historical nature, but of a mathematical one, as well.

FALSEHOOD: Israel evicted the “Palestinian” Arabs from the land in 1948 and is subsequently to blame for the ongoing “Palestinian refugee” problem.

HISTORICAL FACT: Said Arabs were not evicted from the region by Israel. They fled. They were told by the surrounding countries–their own people–that an invasion was looming and that they should leave to avoid suffering casualties at the hands of said conflict. Indisputable evidence from political officials and historians–Arab and Israeli alike–support this fact. Perspective

The Arabs are the only people in recorded history to willfully and emphatically pass on their “refugee” status from generation to generation. Make no mistake; this is a wound that was self-inflicted, and where their soldiers failed, their lies have prevailed. Religious Right… Innocent or Guilty??

The Religious Right:
“Innocent Bystanders”?

Recall the story recorded in the Gospels where the religious right of the day were given the option between Jesus Christ being put to death by horrible crucifixion and an imprisoned criminal, Barabas, being set free. Without hesitation the religious crowd screamed, “Give us Barabas!” They would rather a murderer go free than a ‘peacenik’ be free to speak his mi nd.

I see much of the same group-think today among the religious right, primarily dominant in the South. They’d rather pardon a president for war crimes, lying the nation to war, aiding and abetting terrorism, violating the Constitution, and setting the world on track to depression than to accept any leader from the “pro-peace” left. George W. Bush was given a free pass to commit the unthinkable, yet Bill Clinton faced investigation from Day One, $70 million probe hosted by Ken Starr’s army of lawyers, impeachment, and Richard Mellon Scaiffe’s “Arkansas Project” to dredge up any real or imagined scandal sufficient to nail the Clintons to the cross. I’m not comparing Clinton to Christ, nor George to Barabas. What I am comparing is the absolute hypocrisy of the religious right, then and now.

“INNOCENT BYSTANDERS”
Now that the impact of George W. Bush is felt around the world, the religious right now attempt to distance themselves from Bush, although it can’t be erased how they formed his “base” without which he wouldn’t have been able to land in office — despite election irregularities.

The American religious right were not just “victims” on a level with all those around the globe who suffered because of the man, and there are several reasons why. Evangelicals claimed to have known the will of God in the selection=2 0and loudly proclaimed so — going so far as to unabashedly promote George W. Bush from their pulpits. “Victims” can be defined as “innocent bystanders” who took no part, were objective or non-participants. The religious right doesn’t fit that description.

First Baptist Church of Springdale, Arkansas, before Election Day 2004 showed two videos to its 13,000 congregation, one for each candidate: (1) Rev. Ronnie Floyd showed George Bush with bowed head as if in prayer. From above, a beam of light sprayed across his forehead as if from heaven. The music background during the Bush video was like a sacred hymn; (2) Rev. Floyd then showed a video on a large sceen of John Kerry with a sly grin; a dim light shone across his face from below, and non-Christian music was played in the background that sounded more like a horror movie than anything else. The local and national TV news picked up on this, but Springdale was just an example of what was going on in churches all across the land — selling “their” candidate as a man of God and showing visible disfavor with Democrats as if they were of the devil. And many so-called Christians openly asserted Democrats were of the devil and Republicans were on God’s side. (Mom’s pastor said it openly from the pulpit.)

So I don’t look at them as innocent “victims.” I see them as deceived, but willingly so. Because Christians are supposed to bear the armor of God, chief of which is the Gift of Discernment. Instead they fell in line like dumb s heep to the slaughter, like ignorant lambs following a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

I suspect people of the entire world, not just the U.S., will point fingers at the past if (or when) they find themselves destitute. Bush and his base will be named co-conspirators — as at fault for leading the world into multiple disasters and death. As the planet heads fast into climate change, as the economy drops to depression, as wars erupt rooted in unnecessary provocations compliments of GW Bush, the world will turn and respond, “You made this happen…. You, the religious right, the self-righteous, the deliberately brainwashed sheep that gave him his power, You made this happen.”

As for Clinton’s “escapades” — Richard Mellon Scaife paid big bucks ($2.4 million) on the “Arkansas Project” to find anything they could on Bill Clinton, real or imagined. Scaife, of course, is part of the “right-wing conspiracy” that was integral in impeachment and subsequently selecting Bush as the 43rd despite the election outcome. Scaife is one of the leading neocons who brought us Iraq and is the founder and principal funder of AEI which spawned PNAC in 1997.

So, of all the “scandals” of the 90s, name one that had merit in the public arena? They spent $70 million taxpayer dollars and 8 years investigating the Clintons, and Kenneth Starr finally produced a salacious journal full of filthy porn and reading unfit for children. Plainly, it was a glorified smear campaign. Everyone on the planet has skeletons if they ‘re breathing. Difference was — Scaife and Murdoch paid millions to do the Clintons in and failed.

And now we endured a president for 8 years who never faced investigation. Everything has been swept under the rug, although he’s committed high treason and brought our country to its knees. Literally.

Jesus Christ vs. Barabas.

There was so much rumor floating around about the Clintons, it’d make one’s hair stand up. Falwell circulated the video “The Clinton Chronicles” in 1994, and in the intro letter encouraged pastors to show it at Sunday evening church services. Thirty-thousand pastors complied. The video was pure lies. One Arkansas Supreme Court Justice (retired) was an active member of the KKK who testified against Clinton on the video.

I believe more than ever that modern-day right-wingers are more akin to the Nazis of the 30s & 40s. They even have the pageantry to go with it — worshiping flags and lapel pins. Sickening. The sheer hypocrisy is more disgusting than anything else.

George Bush staged his “born-again” experience. It was simply a marketing tool, just like his fake ranch in Crawford that Rove suggested he buy in 1999 as a stage prop. I’d rather a president arrive like Lincoln, Eisenhower, or Roosevelt who displayed Christianity rather than mouthed it. GW’s was sheep’s clothing; underneath was a wolf that broke the most basic commandments and who never displayed the true Spirit of Christ. The path of least resistance for the religious right is20to hear religious vocabulary while refusing to see reality.

Bush-Rove recognized evangelicals as purely a pool of dumb customers, easily manipulated, easily fooled, and eager to accept lies if coated with sacred sugar.

LEGACY OF THE DAMNED
I believe the economic collapse came as a complete surprise to Bush and his closest pals. He had a faint hope of leaving a decent legacy if, in the unknown distant future, Iraq finally pulled out of it, became a democratic partner with the U.S. right in the heart of the Middle East, and began to wield its new-found strength by influencing other Muslim nations to follow suit. That was his only hope in salvaging an almost irreparable legacy that (as it now stands) places him at the bottom of U.S. presidents, below Richard M. Nixon, Lyndon Baines Johnson, Warren G. Harding, Herbert Hoover and James Buchanan. I’m sure George Sr. is secretly embarrassed. Poppy & Babes so much wished their other son, Jeb, would have made a run for the White House instead of Junior. Perhaps Jeb’s latest announcement for Senate revives that family hope.

Looting the treasury, in my opinion, is not what the lame-duck administration had in mind for the transition period. Instead, I think the issuing of 120 executive orders before January is more what Bush has in mind — decisions Obama can’t reverse for a long time into his first term — the tricky method Bush is arranging them, much worse than the Clinton staff causing the “W” keys to stick on White House computers as Bush’s staff entered January 2001.

I always say — Everything Bush touches turns to waste. And the 120 or so last-minute directives are no exception. Basically, Bush eliminates the use of FMLA for employees suffering major physical ailments, surgeries, heart-attacks, cancer, pregnancies, etc. He’s written a “re-interpretation” of the federal law that allows employers to call employees’ physicians directly and then allows employers to unilaterally deny protected leave (FMLA) for any reason, arbitrarily decided by owners and managers, of course.

Bush also goes after protected wildlife preserves, National Parks, and other lands set aside by the government by handing those lands over to mining, energy and energy interests — to drill or build coal-burning plants next to national parks and to mine uranium right at the entrance to Grand Canyon on the Colorado River.

The final chapter of Bush’s damned legacy may be a complete shutdown of the U.S. — and not just financial institutions, but the government itself — regardless if Obama is slated to be sworn in January 20.

We may be facing a situation similar to Iceland’s — but on a much larger scale, since our population is at least 100 times theirs. The three banks of Iceland went bankrupt of course, but then the government imposed banking “holidays” whe re depositors were blocked from any transactions, initiate withdrawals, etc. — which resulted in riots on the streets that law enforcement was called in to quell.

I do expect similar in the U.S. sometime in the first quarter 2009. “Banking holidays” is a polite way of saying “shut-down.” If citizens are unable to retrieve their money or do routine transactions necessary to conduct business, pay bills, buy groceries, etc., how would they react, do you suppose?

Now, that’s LEGACY, Mr. Bush! Something to hang your hat on, a LEGACY so rotten, no one will forget. (Unless they’re so brainwashed by fundamentalist ideology, they actually believe the world is flat and polar bears are drowning because “God decided it’s time for them to go to sweet polar-bear heaven.”)

When citizens see their homes, jobs, cars and futures disappear right in front of their faces and then realize who and what are responsible, watch out! Bush and his base aren’t innocent victims or outside observers; they’re collaborators to catastrophe.

The consequence of allowing an un-elected president in will haunt millions of Americans for generations. All the Karl Roves, Katherine Harrises, Justices of the Supreme Court, Tom DeLays, Dick Cheneys, Rush Limbaughs, Roger Ailles, and all the rest of the right-wing mob deserve to be locked up for life. And all the fundamentalists who formed Bush’s base should also face some sort of punishment. They called Bush a “man of God” repeatedly when we knew he was nothing but a20liar and thief.

But disciplinary action can only take place after we see light at the end of the tunnel — which may take 2 or 3 years at best, 10 more probable. What a world of hurt we’re in. Thank you, Mr. Bush and the rest of you hypocritical, treasonous accomplices.

THE WORLD IS FLAT
Fundamentalists’ undying faith in Bush resembles their past focuses of faith.

Once upon a time…. Christians believed the earth was flat. Anyone that strayed from this basic doctrine was classified “heretic” and burned at the stake.

Once upon a time…. Christians believed the Pope in Rome was infallible, that he was the vicar of Christ, the successor to St. Peter. Anyone who disagreed was excommunicated and condemned to eternal damnation.

Once upon a time…. Christians believed it was a sin to wear shorts, go swimming, play cards, go to movies, or watch TV. Anyone discovered in forbidden apparel or enjoying prohibited entertainment was damned to hell.

Once upon a time…. Christians believed the universe revolved around the earth. Anyone that strayed from this rock-solid belief was classified “heretic” and imprisoned for life….. such as Galileo.

Once upon a time…. Christians believed sailing far enough west across the Atlantic meant certain death by violators falling off the edge of the earth. Anyone that disagreed was an infidel who deserved certain death.

Once upon a time…. Christians believed global warming was a fairy tale invented by “liberals.” Anyone that strayed from that fundamentalist belief was classified “leftist” and “anti-God” and shunned by the church as punishment.

Once upon a time…. Christians believed being gay was an acquired life-style and behavior, that it was an abominable sin punishable by hell and damnation. And anyone who believed gayness was genetic in nature was “anti-God” and undoubtedly bound for hell.

Once upon a time… Christians believed they were the only ones “pro-life.” Anyone who disagreed with their parameters specified as abstinence and legislated anti-abortion standards were classified “sinners” and “murderers” — Anyone who advocated more education to prevent abortions and divorce were branded “anti-God” — as if pro-choice people loved abortions.

THE COMING COLLAPSE
People that pay attention and read news reports from around the world can see that a major economic collapse will be arriving around the first of the year. Bush, of course, is making provisions for himself — as he always has. Therefore, there’s a leadership vacuum — not that his actions would have done anything positive for correcting the crisis, just that no one is at the wheel. (I still wonder if he will escape to Paraguay or if the idea is just a figment of our imagination — even though we’ve read several reports to that effect.)

The harvest of bad seeds should bury the Republican Party for a generation, like happened after 1929. But who cares? Politics is one of the last things thought of when hungry out in the cold on the streets. Crime will mushroom like it did in the 30s — where gangsters roamed the country robbing banks & businesses. Crime does have a tendency to gain a foothold when poverty increases; always has. Congratulations, Bush, for making one thing increase. Your legacy is incredible.

It would seem, with all our technology and modern advances since the 30s, that this depression won’t be as bad as the last. But who knows?

I cannot conceive of GM, Chrysler and Ford failing. That didn’t happen even in the Great Depression. I can’t conceive of the U.S. Government failing and the dollar dying. That didn’t happen in the 30s either.

The stress is going to build some great leaders in America; that’s the silver lining. Foolishness and tangent issues will fade and fall by the wayside, and rightfully so. Getting focused properly will have its reward.

It’s just that we could have avoided the Depression by rejecting the greedmongers, the Republicans who preached deregulation and no oversight on banks and corporations so they could pelage the treasury. It’s just that we could have avoided 21st Century Depression by rejecting t he same characters that got us into the last big one. But nobody listened, nobody paid attention but a few. Too bad we won’t see payback. Revenge may feel good for a few delicious seconds, but then it evaporates into thin air as if the euphoria never happened.

The “innocent bystanders” are not Bush’s base, the religious right; they are what put us on the path to disaster and are therefore not innocent.

Marriage Equality, African Americans and Mormons

As I sit here, I am torn between the contradictions of the November 4th Elections.It is hard for some one like me who is Jewish and who supports Gay Marriage, to look at the many hypocrisies in the November 4th Elections.

During the civil rights movement, most of the whites who stood up for Black equality were either Jewish or Gay. But here in California a majority of African Americans about 63% voted against Gay Equality. Here in California in a not so long past A mixed race couple Black and White could not have married, but the laws were changed which allowed blacks to marry whites. The same arguements of the “Yes on Prop 8″ groups are the same arguements used against blacks. Ironically by African Americans voting to ban same sex marriage they joined and supported the same groups that said that they were not equal.

Even more disturbing is the Mormon , Church of Latter Day Saints, who were murdered by Christians for their untraditional Polygamist marriage practices and then now joined their former persecutors to persecute Gays and Lesbians.

The double irony is a co-worker of mine who is African American and a Mormon (irony tripled since official Mormon Church policy used to forbid African Americans/Blacks from joining the Mormon Church. To my face she led me to believe that she supported marriage equality, but then I saw here at a “Yes on 8″ rally. So I guess she was just a liar, thanks Marcie.

I was born and raised in California. I have always been proud of being a Californian. I am now shamed by the hate and discrimination of a majority of Californians to write hate into our state Constitution.
